These pieces are made one by one from white portuguese clay and then painted and glazed in the oven, we have several models as the molds change every xxx uses, so if you have a specific piece in mind let us know or we will pick what we think is best.
The yellow is vivid and sometimes the artisan adds some darker spots, this makes the lemon even more realistic.

Each ceramic lemon is made individually and differences in shape, size and colour may occur, these are happy accidents. We work with an artisan in the south of Spain near Sevilla who makes these. These pieces are hollow and have a small hole for stability. This is one of our best sellers and buyers either buy one as an statement piece or to place on top of some books for example or several for their bowls and table centerpieces.
